We are the Jones Family. Crossover Hoops grew from a simple passion: to honor God, love people, and use basketball to make a difference.
Basketball has given our family countless memories and opportunities to grow together. Along the way, we dreamed of creating a place where athletes could work hard, develop their game, build confidence, and grow both on and off the court.
But our vision has always been bigger than basketball.
Our faith in Jesus is at the center of our family and everything we do. We believe God has given us Crossover as an opportunity to love people, encourage athletes, build relationships, and invest in the next generation.
Our mission is to develop the complete athlete through HEART, MIND, And SKILLS- Helping players grow in their game while developing character, discipline, perseverance, and purpose. More than a basketball facility, we want Crossover to be a place where athletes are known, encouraged, challenged, and inspired to BE BETTER EVERY DAY!
Player Development & Shooting Coach

Coach Nelson brings over a decade of basketball coaching and player development experience to Crossover Hoops. A former player at Atlantic Christian High School, Byron continued his playing career at the collegiate level at Kean University before transitioning his passion for the game into mentorship and training.
Over the past 10 years, Coach Nelson has developed players across the entire competitive spectrum, working with young athletes as early as age 7 up to college-level talent.
Complementing his private training experience, he has coached high school boys basketball for 11 years as an assistant for 3 different high schools and was the Head Boys Basketball Coach at ACIT High School, the last six seasons.
Byron’s training approach focuses on sharpening fundamental skill sets, raising basketball IQ, and instilling the court discipline required for athletes to reach their full potential.

Paul Jones is a basketball coach and the owner of Kingdom Courts Basketball Training, bringing over a decade of coaching and player-development experience. Across five seasons as a head coach, Jones has compiled an 85–37 record, including multiple league and tournament championships. His coaching experience includes three years as Head Coach at Atlantic Christian School in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, two years as Head Coach at Trinity Christian Academy in Lake Worth, FL, and three years as an Assistant Head Coach at Atlantic Christian School.
As a head coach, Jones has led teams to 2 Orlando Under Armour Tournament Championships, 3 TSCAC League Championships, and 2 NCSAA Championships, while also winning 2 additional TSCAC League Championships as an assistant coach.
Through Kingdom Courts, Jones has trained and coached 10+ 1,000-point scorers, helping athletes develop both on and off the court.
Outside of basketball, Paul has been married for 10 years and is the proud father of two daughters. His faith and family are at the center of who he is, and he strives to use basketball as a platform to positively impact the next generation.
Coach Jones lives and coaches by one simple motto: “Glorify God & Outwork Everyone.”
